'Rasco The Mansion' with Garden and Swimming Pool, 7 Billion KRW Higher Than Nine One Hannam... Scheduled for Completion in May 2025 on the Former LG Residence Site.
The record for the highest sale price of luxury villas in northern Seoul has been broken. According to the real estate industry, the newly launched luxury villa ‘Rasco The Mansion’ features a penthouse priced at 25 billion KRW. This villa will be situated in the UN Village in Hannam-dong, a neighborhood renowned for being home to major conglomerate leaders and top celebrities.
Following ‘One Cheongdam’ with a record sale price of 35 billion KRW and ‘Eterno Cheongdam’ where IU and Seung-gun Lee, CEO of Viva Republica (Toss), purchased units for 30 billion KRW, ‘Rasco The Mansion’ is set to become the third most expensive villa in Korea. This is the first time in northern Seoul that a villa is priced at over 20 billion KRW. The previous record for the highest sale price in the area was held by the super penthouse in Nine One Hannam, where Big Bang member G-Dragon resides, priced at 18 billion KRW.
The location is adjacent to ‘Lucid House,’ one of the representative luxury villas in the UN Village. The site previously housed LG’s executive residence, which has since been demolished. Construction of the villa is set to begin in November, with completion slated for May 2025. The villa will be built on a 1,102㎡ (333 pyeong) plot, with a total building area of 2,986.44㎡ (903 pyeong), spanning 2 basement levels to 4 above-ground floors. It will consist of five units: two on the ground floor and one each on the second, third, and fourth floors. The penthouse unit is priced at 25 billion KRW, while the remaining four units are expected to be priced between 12 billion and 16 billion KRW.
According to USK Alliance, the developer, ‘Rasco The Mansion’ has been designed by Davide Macullo, who is known for his work as the chief designer for the world-renowned architect Mario Botta. The project also involves the architectural design and interior work of B&A Design Communication, the team behind Nine One Hannam; HaeSol Architecture, known for Parc Hannam; and Strux Associates, the designers of Upper House in Cheongdam-dong.
The penthouse unit will include a 290.7㎡ (88-pyeong) rooftop garden and an outdoor swimming pool. The other units will feature private gardens (ranging from 178.5 to 204.96 ㎡ gardens of approximately 72.6㎡ (22 pyeong) that bring natural light into the basement.
The developer stated, “Each unit has been designed to maximize the views of Namsan Mountain. We have ensured an impressive 18-meter-wide LDK (Living Dining Kitchen) area, which is the largest in Korea. ‘Rasco The Mansion’ is the perfect fit for affluent individuals seeking privacy and exclusivity. With private swimming pools that are not subject to luxury housing regulations and the largest private gardens in the country, ‘Rasco The Mansion’ is expected to set a new standard in the high-end real estate market in Korea.”
